Older adults face unique challenges and have differing needs when navigating the urban environment. At same time, civil servants policymakers in cities are facing difficulties promoting age-friendly initiatives due to lack of knowledge, data, tools about for older adults. In this context, smart can play a key role increasing participation (i.e., 65 years older) by collecting data needed provide knowledge design However, using city inform policy making is made more difficult several existing issues such as aggregated nonage-specific big altogether, disparity access use digital technology.
